Good Morning, Thanks for your question. Commonwealth applicants, and British nationals all get paid the same. The current rates for soldiers starting training as a Recruit is £15,671 a year. Once you become a Private soldier this will raise your £20,000 a year. In training you’ll probably take home around £1000 a month but this may vary depending on your personal deductions and tax allowances. There are lots of other benefits too; • 38 days paid leave • Subsidised food and accommodation • Free gym and sports facilities • Free dental and medical care •Free pension Qualifications • Apprenticeships and world class training. If you have any other questions please feel free to ask. Katie
