This varies from job to job. Some soldiers may work at a Brigade HQ, keeping the commander updated with the current intelligence picture, whilst others may deploy on the ground with an infantry company or even provide strategic support to very senior officials. Thanks for your question. Intelligence corps soldiers can fulfil a variety of roles. We can support smaller units to HQ formations with operational intelligence or keep our troops and assets secure with counter intelligence & security.

Intelligence corps soldiers can also specialise and become linguists or cyber security specialists, for example.

There's a wide variety of work that you can undertake in the Intelligence Corps, though to succeed you will ideally have an interest in current affairs, communication and briefing, and report writing.
