I'm currently looking at a career in the Army Air Corps as an Officer Pilot, what path do you recommend?
Additional information
I'm currently 15 and studying for my GCSE's, I've taken the eligibility test and it has said that there aren't any options available for me to join the army, I don't know whether this is based on age.

Army Air Corps Engagement Team Warrant Officer
Hello Lewis and thank you for your question.
Great to hear you are considering a career in Army Aviation!
There are some fantastic roles and opportunities in the AAC including Officer Pilot. The best approach to answering your question is ultimately the decision of job role is down to the individual? What you could see yourself doing and ultimately what could be the best fit for you?
As well as Officer Pilot we offer other roles such as -
Aviation Support Officer
Aviation Specialist
Communications and IT Specialist
Aviation Crewman (available post-training and with approx 4 years service in the AAC)
Logistics Specialist (available post-training)
Physical Training Instructor (available post-training and with approx 4 years service in the AAC)
..amongst many more educational and professional qualification opportunities.
I am assuming, at this point, the feedback given by the online eligibility test is giving the response based on your current age, though I can't confirm that? My advice to you would be to go online and do some further investigation into job roles in the AAC and over the coming year 20/21 look at arranging a careers interview at your local Armed Forces Careers Office. You can arrange this online or by phone call. Speak with a careers advisor because they are best placed to provide friendly face to face advice.

From my perspective, I joined the Army Air Corps, aged 21, as a Soldier. I have worked in a variety of roles including Communications Specialist, Aviation Specialist, Aviation Crewman and as a Platoon Sgt Instructor at one of our training establishments. So a variety of rewarding job roles of which I have enjoyed every minute.
Lewis I hope this has provided a different perspective at the very least and I wish you the very best of luck moving forward.
If you have any other Army Aviation specific queries then please do get in touch.
Regards
Stuart.
