Additional information

I would like to Join the AAC after university and want to apply for a university bursary. I am just wondering if I was awarded this if there was any way of gaining AAC sponsorship and if my eyes were good enough to pass the medical. (Not perfect but not requiring glasses)

Visual acuity without spectacles is 6/12. Visual acuity with spectacles is 6/6. Lens power is -0.75 to +1.75 dioptres. Astigmatism is a max of 0.75 dioptres. Colour perception is Ishihara Test Pass.

Unfortunately the AAC does not offer sponsorship through RMAS as we are looking primarily for good officers. This means that your performance at RMAS is absolutely critical when you come for interview at the Regimental Selection Board.
