Regimental Medical Officer
Hello,
I am afraid we cannot answer individual medical enquiries on this forum. If you start an application our team will be able to give you an answer once they have checked your medical records and have taken into account any other information that may be required.
Generally speaking, a diagnosis of ADHD does not always prohibit personnel from joining. It will depend on symptoms, treatment, who made the diagnosis and whether the individual has been off treatment for an extended amount of time without symptoms. Our guidelines on this are constantly being reviewed and updated so I am unable to advise on the exact criteria that must be met at this time.
If you wish to start an application, please see our website https://apply.army.mod.uk/how-to-join
