i am looking into becoming a Driver communication specialist and i am trying to find out will i need drivers licence and a passport

No you don't need a driving licence as the army will put you through an intense course and all the training you require.
For passport in not the prior requirement for the citizen you can apply after the joining as well.Passport will be required for various deployment outside UK.
