Is the minimum age to join the Paratroopers 16? If so am I able to apply the day I turn 16?

Hi Joshua, Great question. You can apply before you turn 16. The minimum age you may begin the formal application
process for the Regular Army is 15 years 7 months, however 15 years and 9 months is the
minimum age before you can attend any selection event and you cannot not be enlisted
before the age of 16 years and before officially leaving school.
