Thanks for your question. The Army has a wide variety of different roles available. Some roles require no formal qualifications, others you will need to study to degree level. Fitness plays a big part of Army life. Not everyone joins fit however. Part of the role of your training is to bring everyone to the fitness standard required. Thank you

As Adam mentioned above The army has over 200 job roles to choose from, all with different entry requirements and standards. The army homepage will have all the requirement and qualifications required for each role. If you prepare and have the qualifications needed for your chosen job choice, it’s not hard! J

Hi there, Thank you for your question. As Adam and James have said, there are lots of different roles and Regiments, so you’ll need to work out which ones appeal to you and ensure you meet the eligibility criteria to join them. With regards to whether it is difficult or not, it’s subjective. Some will find it challenging, and others will breeze through. The best thing to do is make sure you are thoroughly prepared before you start your basic training, and that will make your life as easy as possible. Training is designed to be challenging and to put you outside your comfort zone, we need officers and soldiers who are robust and determined. But passing out is absolutely achievable with the right effort and mind set, and the challenge makes it all the more rewarding when you pass out! Good luck with your application. Katie
