The minimum service commitment in the Army is 4 years.

For the vast amount of jobs in the Army the minimum service is 4 years. However, after 3 years you can "sign off", which means to hand in your notice, after which you will have a year until your 4 year point when you can then leave the Army.

You will be expected to serve for a minimum of 4 years, including training. A lot of people stay beyond that and make a career out of the Army or earn diplomas through work.
