what piercings are allowed? have a tongue piercing and i am not sure if i am allowed it in the army

Hello Neve, thank you for your question.
The only piercing permitted in the Army is one plain stud earring in each ear. You would have to remove your tongue piercing before you started basic training. Before I joined I also had my tongue pierced and a naval piercing which I removed, they will check this in Basic Training.
