Working in the British Army is a truly unique and rewarding experience. It offers a structured yet dynamic environment where no two days are the same. Whether you're on operations, training exercises, or supporting your unit in camp, you're constantly developing new skills, facing challenges, and growing as both a soldier and an individual. Greatest achievements

One of my proudest achievements has been progressing through the ranks from Private to Staff Sergeant, while also having the honour of leading Army Esports — combining leadership, innovation, and a passion for modern engagement.

There will be opportunities that come your way, which at first may not sound great, however, if you volunteer for those you will be rewarded. I volunteered to go to Kosovo for 6 weeks, in return I was picked to go skiing for a week in Italy, all paid for by the Army. I loved both experiences and have never regretted that decision.

When I first applied for the Army I knew I could better my qualifications and travel around the world, but never knew I could gain so much more, for example I would have never of said in 10 years time I want to be a skiing instructor, but the Army has given me that experience and helped me work towards it.
