That qualification is gained at the Infantry training centre where you will conduct your combat infantry mans course. Safe us of small arms qualification will allow you to safely use and operate a range of theBritish army’s weapon system, these include the SA80 Individual weapon system, The glock 17 side arm pistol and the General purpose machine gun. There are further weapon systems that you will use and qualify on once you reach your chosen infantry battalion.
