What are the requirements to be a part of the Rifles? Is it something one could go into straight as infantry?

As the rifles are infantry that come under Ground close combat, the entry requirements are the same across the board for GCC apart from the Paras.

2km run 10m 15s or if you are Junior entry the run requirements are slightly slower but to leave AFC you will be required to achieve the 10m 15s time.

Yes it is a direct entry role, the rifles have around 5 regular units. Have a look online or speak to your local armed forces careers office.
