The team medic qualification is a military qualification only. It is not a trade. Think of it as first aid training for trauma.
The infantry has combat medical technicians that work alongside them, while the CMT qualification is also a military qualification, many CMTs will train as EMTs, and some as paramedics, which are both qualifications that can be used outside the army.
