Hello,
I'm afraid we don't have any dog handlers on this platform at the moment. During the application process you will have more opportunities to ask questions about the role you are hoping to do.
As far as I know, dog handlers do everything that the soldiers do, but must also care for their dog full time, I'm afraid that's the extent of my knowledge.
