Do the marine commandos source their dogs and dog handlers from 1MWD regiment or from a different unit?

If by marine commandos you are talking about royal marines then I do not know the answer as they would come under the Royal Navy. However all commando units in the army source their dogs from the MWD who would go as an attached arm.

To add to Jordan's answer, the Royal Marines also use Army dogs and handlers.
