So I would like to know about more about the difference in this job role and it’s aspects as i was currently looking at infantry roles

Hi Imran I'm a communication specialist, we aren't a combat role we are part of the logistical chain, so we are an essential asset to ensure communications is maintained at all times with the troops on the ground and the officers, this can be either through voice or digital.

Hi there thank you, that is very clarifying. One of my biggest concerns is my history, I’m a care leaver and wanted to join around 18 but I didn’t go through with it.. since then I’ve been in and out of trouble but nothing serious and no drugs. I realise it’s difficult to say but realistically what’s the likelihood of my application being accepted. At the moment I’m training like a machine and I estimate12 weeks of more training before I start the application

I’m starting to see adverts on tv and have read about the recruiting effort And retention rates and I’d like to join until I retire

So I couldn’t really run more than 30 mins a few months ago and now I’m doing 8,9,10 miles

Just put everything down on your application form for the Recruitment Group as they will be the one's going through it. Be honest and put it all down. It's great to hear you wnat to have a full career and hopefully you do. Also it's wonderful to see such a big improvement, well done

Thank you it’s helps, over the past few months alone I’ve gained about 5 diplomas in fields I was interested in or wanted to learn about. I’m taking this time to prepare my self as I was also a smoker for years. Thanks for the advice really helps.
