Daniel E.
Assistant Intelligence Officer
Hello and thank you for your question.
Being the Infantry, the Rifle is our first line of defence and the main weapon we use when we are fighting or Peacekeeping.
To that end, we have to be proficient with shooting, that is why we have annual Marksmanship tests to make sure we are up to standard.
In training, you are required to pass this test but if you fail the first time, you will be tested again.
If you keep failing then you will go through remedial training until you can pass this test and then you will carry on with your training.
I hope this helps answer your question and if you have anymore, please get in touch.
Regards,
Daniel.
