Is being a para the only way to be airborne high readiness soldiers? Can you apply from other regiments?

In any capbadge you could be classed as 'high readiness' - ie, if something happens (more recently such as COVID), soldiers who are at high readiness will be called out to do something (ie for COVID - man testing centres etc). You do not have to be Para to be high readiness and regardless of capbadge if you are fit enough you could attempt the All Arms P-Company - you could be para trained without being attached to a Para Regiment.
