I don't just mean guards passing p coy and working aside paras, what I mean is if you are a guard and pass p company can you join the parachute regiment and wear the maroon beret with the wings?

Hi, if you join as a guardsman you would need to change capbadge to actually join the Parachute Regt. Just passing P Coy wouldn't allow you to automatically transfer either. You would need to speak with you chain of command and there would need to be the appropriate space for you in the paras (level of rank etc). I hope this helps.
