Additional information

With COVID finding a time to start training has been hard. I’ve been offered a spot for Scots guards soon but I’ve never been sure if that’s for me and have been split between that and Mercian regiment light infantry. I’ve not been given a date for that training.

Assistant Intelligence Officer

Hello.

It is possible to transfer in Phase One. Potential recruits do it quite often, for several reason.
They might make good friends with someone while in training but they are going to different Regiments, so one of them may choose to transfer.
Learning more about the Army as a whole could influence your choice, there are loads of individual factors to take into consideration.

It is not set in stone until you have passed out of training, but you could still choose to transfer later on in your Army Career.

I hope this helps with your choice.
