If I were to sign up as one job role could I then change my role later down the line?

Yes this is absolutely possible, so long as there is space in the role you wish to transfer into, and you also meet their pre-requisites (i.e. qualification requirements). Typically, you would need to complete your training before you can move over but it depends on a number of factors.

There are a few roles that are only available to those already serving, such as an instructor in the Physical Training Corps.
