Hello,

Being in the Army can be challenging both physically and mentally. Therefore, a history of health problems or the presence of health conditions that usually don't affect your everyday life, can mean that you're not able to join, or you might have to wait to join. One of the first things you will be asked to do when you make an application to the army online is medical questionnaire. It depends on how you answer but this can stop your application from progressing further so it is important you answer honestly. If your application continues you will still have your medical history reviewed latter in the process. The medical team assess everyone individually, and make their decisions based on their professional opinion in keeping with prescribed army standards.

Hope this helps, thanks.
