Morning, thanks for your question. It will depend on what you are joining but if you were to join the Royal Signals as a linguist I think that will be useful. Once you have one language I think it can be easier to pick up others which is also beneficial. It will be worth contacting your local Careers Office for the most up to date information....Good luck.
