Most units hold their training/drill night one day during the week (this is unit specific) and hold training weekends. You are only likely to do training/work details during the week as a recruit whilst you're attending your basic training courses. As a trained soldier there are often opportunities for work details during the week, dependant on type of work and your qualifications.
