When doing the 40 week training course (start 16 years old), how often can you come home? Can you come home at weekends?

Yes you do get weekends off, however it is not at the initial stage of your training. you would have to complete at least five weeks before a long weekend is granted based on individuals performance in training, this is always changing so it is a rough guide for when you can expect your first weekend at home, I hope this helps.

It all depends on what your doing non your training programme. There will be busy periods but there will be periods where you will be able to head home to see family and friends. You will also have 2 weeks leave, generally summer or Christmas depending on when you start your training.

Thanks for your question.
The nursing role requires 120 UCAS points with maths, English and science GCSEs.
You will gain a nursing degree in Birmingham university and paid whilst studying and placement.
Once you have qualified you will have a choice of hospital locations to get posted.
Upon completion of your degree, you will promote to the rank of Corporal. This role is progressed through a regular soldier entry.
