Hello and thank you for your question.
When your unit isn't deployed, you will get to see your friends and family most weekends.
If you are lucky and your unit is based closed to where you live, you will be able to see them on an evening.
A usual working day is between 0730-0800 until 1630-1700, but each unit is different.
Once the working day has finished, the rest of the day is yours to do with as you like.
I hope this helps answers your question and if you have any more, please ask.
