Hello,
Combat HR Specialists do deploy in support of combat operations. They may not necessarily see “action” on the front line but they will be there providing some hugely important HR support. Without having them deployed organising logistics of flights home, ensuring we know where all our people are and management of T&R would be very difficult.
All members of the army are trained with a soldier first mentality. Our Combat HR Specialists are trained soldiers and will engage with the enemy if it is required of them.
