Hi! Thanks for your question. HR specialists are like everyone else, and go all around the world. Not only for exercises but also deployments and postings. In my 7 years, I’ve been to Canada (3 times), Austria (5 times), France (3 times) America (2 times), Belize (1) and Australia for 4 months.
The good thing about HR specialists is that we are needed everywhere so we can be posted all around the world, places like Dubai, Washington, Milan, Germany and Ireland just to name a few.
Hope this helps, please get in touch if you have anymore questions!

Hello and thanks for your question. It totally depends on the unit you are attached to. In my career as HR so far I’ve been to Nepal, Chile, Kenya, Austria, Germany, France, Spain, Malta, Cyprus and Northern Ireland. You will find that if you are attached to a unit that deploys a lot such as the infantry, you may go on operations with them possibly to Afghanistan, Iraq, Estonia, Ukraine etc. But also there is a huge opportunity to go abroad for sports and adventure training! So the answer to your question is quite possibly you could be abroad a lot but depends who you’re attached to. Every career in HR varies.
I hope this helps
