James A.
Reconnaissance Platoon soldier
Thank you for your question.
If your interested in joining AFC Harrogate, look online for a series called Raw recruits at 16. The series will give you an insight in to the day to day life of a junior soldier.
Throughout training lights out will be around 10/11 pm and you’ll be expected to be up at 6am to say start your routine aswell as cleaning the accommodation for morning inspection.
The workload at phase 1 training is extremely high but we understand that sleep is also incredibly important to get the best from our soldiers.
I hope this answers your question
