Unsure on 21 reserves but to to get in to SF, whether it’s SAS, SRR, SBS or SF Coms, you must be in for a minimum time served with yearly reports before applying to attend a briefing course which lasts 5 days.
If you are successful on your briefing course you will get offered a start date to attend selection. Selection varies in stages depending on what sf role you are pursuing.
