Corporal, Adjutant General's Corps, Staff and Personnel Support AGC(SPS).
General Police Duties are conducted both at home and overseas on operations. RMP Companies investigate a wide range of criminality within their areas of responsibility. Offences such as theft and assault are common. This often takes place in partnership with Home Office Police Services. For the RMP soldier, expect a shift pattern and time spent conducting active investigations (taking statements, making arrests etc.) and patrolling in towns or areas with a high Military populations.
The training you receive at South Park near Portsmouth prepares you for your first day. The training is delivered by experienced instructors and mixes a range of classroom and practical skills to ensure you’re ready. But don’t forget you’ll be joining an experienced team so you’ll never be alone.
Hope this helps, for further information check out the Army website or search 1 MP Brigade on all the main social media platforms.
