Hello thanks for your question. This totally depends on the regiment you join. It’s usually the regimental sergeant major’s decision if you can have pets. For example, my last unit allowed pets but my new one doesn’t. My advice is don’t get a pet until you get to barracks and you know for definite. I’ve found during my career, pets are generally not allowed.
