Hi Hannah,
I'm afraid we don't have any mental health nurses on this forum at the moment.
Generally speaking, mental health nurses will have the same opportunities as the wider army in terms of taking part in sport and going on adventure training etc..
The application won't tie you into anything, but it will give you opportunities to ask more questions. Alternatively, you could try contacting Army Medical Services recruiting, either via their website, or their social media pages (these sometimes feature soldier profiles as well).
