What’s it like becoming a medic in the army?

I’m currently studying extended diploma level 3 in health and social care and after college I would love to have a go at becoming a medic in the army. However, I’m not sure what it is like How much additional training is required? What do you have to do to get into the medical field?

Combat Medical Technician
Studying a level 3 in health and social care may entitle you to be able to get a job a a nurse. However if you want to go down the CMT route the qualification will help you understand the course more, you will still have to sit through all of the training the same as anyone else this is because of the environments that we work in.
