Is it possible to be vegan, not vegetarian, in the Paras?

Yes is the very short answer.
Although I myself have not yet worked alongside a vegan, I'm a vegetarian and 2 of my work mates are Sikh and Hindu which require special dietry requirements. I can safely say that catering for a vegan will be no more difficult than the examples mentioned above.
The only thing you should consider is whether you could attend lessons that involve capturing and preparing animals for consumption in the field. If you were to attend one of these lessons, you wouldn't have to actually partake if you disagree on moral grounds.
