Is it still possible to be a “RCMT” within an infantry battalion or is it just RAMC? Thank you?

I understand that infantry soldiers could train as Regimental CMT class 1 without transferring. Is this still possible?

I know that infantry soldiers used to be able to do this many years ago but now you have to join the RAMC and get attached to the infantry to work in this capacity, however you may train up as a Team Medic which will allow you to work in a medical capacity until a CMT or other medical trained personnel can take over.
