Hello,
As you don’t study for a veterinary degree with the army as such, you will need to get a place at a university that offers a veterinary medicine/science degree. It will help your application if you have plenty of work experience at a variety of practices to help you know it’s what you want to do and support your application. Getting experience at kennels or places that use animals for work is also helpful as it can help you understand the environment and challenges associated with working animals.
If you receive a bursary to join as a vet, then you may be able to come to visit the RAVC as part of your Extra Mural studies, which is part of your requirement whilst studying.
