Akanisa,
Being a soldier in the British army requires every soldier to pass annual fitness tests so all
Soldiers are required to be fit.
The current entry fitness test is 2km, the time depends on what your desired job role is
Have you applied yet?

To add to James' answer, the fitter you can be before you join the easier you'll find everything - it's also the one absolute known before joining as the fitness entry standards can be found on the British Army website. If you want some help with getting fit you could download the 100% army fit app. Always be careful with training as the army expects a basic standard, it is not expecting you to turn up as Superman/woman. Through army training your fitness will be built up slowly! You won't be expected to run 5 miles at full speed or speed march with a heavy backpack as soon as you join. Good luck.
