Hi im looking too join the infantry but i was curious whether my recruiter chooses my position or do i have the choice.

You have the choice! Your recruiter is not allowed to tell you where to go - you have options and your recruiter could give you all the detail such as job choices, entry dates, how many people that capbadge can take (as this could effect entry timeline) etc etc but ultimately you make the decision. There are plenty of trades that are very similar for example and RLC driver is pretty much the same as an Engineer driver but you will be given all the details for you to make an informed decision and choice!
