Is it possible to bring a PC to the army? most of my relaxation and free time is on one and it's a big part of my life.

Having been an instructor at Pirbright, you would not be able to bring a PC to basic training as you will not have anywhere to set it up as storage is limited and as you will be in a shared room it could be accidently damaged. You would be allowed to bring a tablet and a mobile phone. During basic training you will not be allowed to use your phone or any devices during the working day, there are set times (usually the evenings) that you are allowed to use your devices. There are welfare facilities available that you are able to use that have games consoles which can be played during your down time.
You could bring it to your phase 2 (trade training) but it would depend on what cap badge you are joining. For example, here at Middle Wallop many trainees in phase 2 training have there own PC's and games consoles but they are still in shared accommodation so it is at their own risk.
I would wait until you have finished training and are assigned to your first unit. You will have more free time and could have the opportunity (dependant on availability at you unit) to have your own room.
My top tip is to focus on completing training first.
