I like a challenge and what to attempt P Coy but I do not want to transfer. Is that possible?

Hi, great question. Anyone in the army can attempt P company or the All Arms Commando Course. Obviously for the time you're on the course you'd be away from your unit but you would go back. If you then choose to join a unit that is P Coy or Commando course based then you stay in your capbadge (could be REME but end up at 7 Para in Colchester or 29 Commando Royal Artillery in Plymouth) but you'd just move to a different part of the country potentially. As P Coy / Commando trained it offers you a wider selection of units to go to. I hope that helps answer your question.
