Will lactose intolerance prevent joining?
Additional information
I’ve read things saying it won’t affect me and others saying it will be a barrier. I just wanted to know if it’s unlikely I’ll be accepted and I’d rather know sooner than spending years to work towards this career and to be turned down at the end.

And if I get medication to help, will it improve my chances or not?

It's a really tricky one as it depends how much in impacts on your life, how serious it is, how much it is documented on your medical records. My advice would be to physically go to an Army Careers Office and speak to them. Unfortunately with regards to medical 'issues' every individual is different. If it's almost self diagnosed and you're not currently taking medication then try and steer clear of having it on medical records but if it affects you daily then obviously you need to do what is safe for you.
