You could start by researching your options at The British Army | Army Jobs and Recruitment once you feel you have enough information you may find it easier to have a discussion with your parents and be able to answer any concerns they have if they are still in doubt but open to find out more you could speak to your local Careers Centre advisors together for a chat find them at following link Your Local Army Careers Centres.
