James A.
Reconnaissance Platoon soldier
Hi and thank you for your question.
The only thing I regret doing was not joining directly from school.
I joined the army at 18, coming from a rough and deprived area without doing well in my GCSEs.
The army has allowed me to see a decent amount of countries, given me a vast range of qualifications whilst paying me a healthy salary in the meantime!
What other job will give you over 7 weeks paid off a year?
Regards
J
