Team Leader and Bugler
No sadly not yet âhint hint, nudge nudgeâ Sadly there is only a few in the Army allow beards:
1. Assault pioneers Serjeants/Sergeants.
2. Bugle Majors
I personally hope this change but I can guarantee that there will be strict limitations on this.

Hi there, thanks for your question.
At present Army policy states that males will keep their faces clean-shaven when in uniform, or in civilian clothes on duty. Moustaches are permitted and if worn must be kept neatly trimmed, tapered and tidy. You cannot currently, routinely, grow a beard. As Jake mentions above there are a couple of positions in the Army which allow a beard to be worn, but you can also grow a beard if you have a medical condition that requires it, or if you need to grow and maintain a beard on religious grounds.
Army policy is constantly reviewed though, so this could change at any time.
I hope this answers your question.
