In initial training do they take you to Flanders to see the memorials?

Hi Matt - There is a part of phase 1 training called "realities of war". Over a couple of days you will visit some sort of remembrance site or battlefield either in France/Belgium or somewhere in the UK. It may not necessarily be Flanders, for example during my phase 1 we visited Ypres in Belgium.
