The Territorial Army (TA) is now called the Army Reserves. It's best to try and pass the army fitness test prior to joining - or at least being at a fitness standard that it's not then too difficult to pass. You can find more if you download the Army fitness app -100% Armyfit
The app will really help towards getting fit and monitoring your progress.
