Hello Glaeken, thank you for your question.
If you join the Adjutant General's Corps, Staff and Personnel Support, the minimum promotion time is as follows;
Private - Lance Corporal = 18 Months
Lance Corporal - Corporal = 24 Months
As stated, this is the minimum time, this may be longer depending on your work performance.
For other trades and Corps, this may be longer. In our job Staff and Personnel Support, our promotion rates are quicker than many other roles in the Army.
