Hi Riley,
Not at all.
The entry requirements will allow you to get an apprenticeship within the army. You will complete 14 weeks basic training to become a soldier then move on to your trade training once you have complete you combat engineer course.
For yourself, you will go away and train as a plasterer within the royal engineers and get qualified within 12 months, a course that would take 2 years in civilian street
